I love to care for my sweet boys and raise them into strong, capable, young men. I have seen J grow so much lately, and it makes my heart happy. His favorite moments with us are being read to and cuddling, with no siblings around. His whole day is better when I give him ten solid minutes of one on one time. My hands are full here, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I have been anticipating joining this group and following along with the recipes for some time. Life got away from me this week, but I’m still plugging along! I am really trying my best on following through this year, and finding new priorities that make my family and myself stronger. The White Bread was a great first recipe, nothing too daunting, and should turn out well. Yippee! Is there anything better than fresh bread? No? I didn’t think so either. I didn’t take pictures as I was making it, but I did while it was baking. The final results are below! I hope you enjoy. The bread was very tasty!
My babies are under the weather again. J just can’t seem to kick his cough and G’s is starting to become stronger. After jumping on ‘Bruce’ (our trampoline, thanks to Aunt Ann for the name) the children sound terrible and once they are trying to go to sleep they can’t seem to settle in. That’s when I use my magic. Thanks to my mother in law, Betty, I have a secret that works better than anything in the store, half Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar, half honey. It works like a charm. Then I send them to bed with a cup of tea and honey. Nighty night.
