Tailgating

Our cats have been loving the weather here as of late.  They sit quietly in the cool grass, watch butterflies and birds fly by, and pester the neighborhood dogs.  This is living.

Rabbycats

We often let our cats and bunny hang around in the backyard together, tonight was no different.  I heard a loud truck noise outside and simultaneously out of the corner of my eye I saw Gidget–one of our cats and Bucket, our rabbit come bounding  up to the back door.  I commented to Jason that that was odd, and wondered what was going on.  Half of a second later we SAW what was going on.  Bucket was MOUNTING Gidget.  Poor Gidget.  She jumped up onto a chair out of the reach of you know ‘who’ and sat there until I could grab my camera and let her in.  I was hoping for a picture…but we let her in too quickly…talk about a ‘point and shoot moment.’  Gidg ran in and hid under the couch.  Poor kitty.  Needless to say, I gave her some treats and they will NOT be together unsupervised any longer.
